According to the White House, Trump has a reported diagnosis of CVI (chronic venous insufficiency).
“The president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies, bilateral lower limb vein doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over 70 years old. Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease,” White House Press Secretary Karoline said before Lea.
Bruising on the hands, Leavitt also said, was due to frequent handshaking and aspirin use.
