Trump’s niece just called him ‘Parent of disgrace’ and ‘Parent of cover-up’ for Barron’s relationship with celebrity ‘Monster’

Every family has issues, and this applies even to the Trump family. Often we only see President Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and the President’s older children, who seem to enjoy the spotlight more. But Trump also has an extended family, and not all of them agree. For example, his niece, Mary Trump, has been a vocal critic of her uncle for some time, and now she has stepped up.

Donald Trump’s niece has called her uncle “dishonourable” and a “spremble” because of Barron Trump’s connection to Andrew Tate. The influencer has been accused of raping and trafficking more than 20 women and of creating a criminal gang for sexual exploitation, and routinely incites misogyny on social media.

In a video on her Mary Trump Media account, the President’s niece says that Trump was directly involved in the release of the Tate brothers from Romania last February to travel to the United States. They were banned from leaving the country, until, according to her, Trump intervened. Trump said he knew nothing about that when asked directly.

“Andrew Tate has spent years scouting high-profile conservatives and some of Donald’s top advisers,” said Mary Trump, who is in line with a New York Times report on the matter. “He made it very, very clear that he was a big supporter of Donald Trump,” she added. “And with his huge following on social media, that’s all you need for Donald Trump to do everything he can to make sure that, regardless of the horrible crimes you’ve committed, you get to be free.”

She also addressed the fact that Barron Trump, the youngest of the President’s sons, was reported to be a “big fan” of Tate.

“Now, imagine what kind of… oh gosh, what’s the word? Um, disgraceful, despicable parent you need to be in order to think it’s okay for your son to listen to and admire a monster like Andrew Tate,” said Mary Trump.

Barron and Tate reportedly share a mutual friend, Justin Waller. It was Waller who told the Times that Barron Trump admired Andrew Tate and spoke with him on Zoom in 2024, with the outlet reporting that the two discussed the belief that the criminal case against Tate was an attempt to silence him.

Mary Trump didn’t stop there, saying that “it’s hardly news that Donald is a terrible misogynist,” adding that “many of the women in my family were misogynists.”

And she even brought up Epstein, saying, “Donald continued over the years to surround himself with like-minded misogynistic people, like Jeffrey Epstein, for example.” According to her, the help to Tate was part of a strategy to capitalize on his social media after “to catch on their young male audience, mostly white,” which is considered the basis for the Republicans.

Considering the criticism, it’s safe to say that Mary Trump won’t exactly be invited to the family dinner with the President and his immediate family anytime soon. And she probably wouldn’t want to be. She can continue to be a critical voice from outside that circle.
