‘MAGA thought they voted to end it’ Dan — ‘Boy Were We Wrong’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) — serving her final days before leaving Congress — slammed President Donald Trump’s decision to strike Venezuela.

In a post to X on Saturday, Greene took issue with the administration justifying the move on the grounds that they were seeking to combat narco-terrorism.

“I have served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years,” Greene wrote. “I am 100% for strong secure borders and stopping narcoterrorists and cartels from trafficking deadly drugs and human trafficking in America. Fentanyl is responsible for over 70% of drug overdose deaths in the US and fentanyl comes from Mexican cartels made with chemical precursors from China and trafficked across the US Mexico border. drugs. If the US military action and regime change in Venezuela was really about saving American lives from deadly drugs, so why hasn’t the Trump administration taken action against the Mexican cartels And if prosecuting narcoterrorists is a high priority, then why did President Trump pardon former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez who was convicted and sentenced to 45 years for the same drug trade that Venezuela primarily traffics to the United States”

The next obvious observation is that by removing Maduro this is a clear move for control over Venezuela’s oil supplies which will ensure stability for the next obvious war for regime change in Iran.

And of course why is it ok for America to militarily invade, bomb, and capture a foreign leader but Russia is bad for invading Ukraine and China is bad for aggression against Taiwan? Is it ok if we just do it? (I’m not endorsing Russia or China)

The Congresswoman, in a subsequent post continued to explode the idea of expelling the president of the country, Nicolas Madurothrough military action.

“Regime change, foreign war funding, and US tax dollars (sic) being consistently diverted to foreign causes, foreign both at home and abroad, and foreign governments while Americans are consistently faced with the cost of living, housing, health care, and learning about scams and fraud of their tax dollars is what most Americans they got angry,” Greene wrote. “Especially the younger generations. The boomers and half of Gen X will cheer on neocon wars and talking points, but the other half of Gen X and the lower majority see it and hate it. Americans (sic) disgust with our own government’s never-ending military aggression and support for foreign wars is justified because we are forced to pay, always keep the Democratic Republic and the Democratic Republic is going.”

Greene added, “This is what many in MAGA thought they voted to end. Boy were we wrong.”

And in a subsequent post after Trump’s announcement that the United States would “run” Venezuela, Greene expressed her disgust with a facepalm emoji.
